I am trying to establish a VPN between the sites using two SmoothWall routers behind the NetGear routers. I can not remove the NetGear routers and use only smoothwall. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to achieve this, all my attempts so far have failed. Thanks in advance for any help. Dave/

Create an incoming connection configured for dial-up and VPN(if needed) on the WinXP home. Make sure the user has dial-in permissions. Connect from the client with the user credentials dialing to the WinXP home machine. This should work for you.

HELP VPN!!
It allowd for denying anyone else access to the router (unless they were configured for the VPN), but it did not encrypt traffic. The issue seems to be that nothing that is not destined for the router itself (like Internet traffic) is not encrypted. Has anyone gotten something like this to work?

Behind Proxy to Proxy w/ VPN
